机动战士高达THE ORIGIN是高达系列将于2015年发表的动画作品，机动战士高达THE ORIGIN又译《机动战士敢达THE ORIGIN》。

机动战士高达THE ORIGIN全集改编自安彦良和所编作漫画，原案为富野由悠季/矢立肇，机械设定为大河原邦男。剧情方面，动画讲述的是在宇宙世纪0079年，SIDE-3的吉翁公国对地球联邦发动了战争，在吉翁新兵器的威力下，联邦军毫无招架之力，於是决定秘密开发新兵器——高达来对抗。

动画片机动战士高达THE ORIGIN将以EVENT上映方式在2015年春公开，全6话：
